The Palatine Jaycees will be hosting their 57th annual Christmas Tree Sale in the Palatine Park District Aquatic Center parking lot this Holiday season to raise funds to help individuals and civic groups throughout the Palatine area.
The sale will run from Friday, November 25th through Sunday, December 18th. On November 25th the tree lot will be open from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM. During the rest of the sale, hours will be from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Fridays, on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The Aquatic Center parking lot is located on Palatine Road just west of Northwest Highway behind the Walgreens at 340 East Palatine Road.
“This is my favorite season and being able to chair this project is a special treat this year,” said Sarah Harwerth-De Marco, Co-Chair of the project. “We will be offering a variety of fresh-cut, long and short needle trees, wreaths and garland at special pricing. Shoppers can choose from our selection of Scotch Pine, Blue Spruce, Balsam Fir, Douglas Fir and Fraser Fir in a variety of sizes at competitive prices.”
As an added feature to the sale, the Jaycees will be sponsoring a Santa’s Mailbox. Children will be able to mail a letter to Santa from a mailbox on the Christmas tree lot. Santa will respond to any letter dropped in the box before December 10th. Please include a return address on your envelope.
“We do our best to make sure our customers are happy,” said Zach Kulig, Co-Chair of the project. “We provide a variety of extra services for our customers. Baling is available to make transporting your tree easier. We also offer drilling services for specialized tree stands.”
“Our Christmas Tree Sale has always been one of my favorite projects,” said Kulig “We get to share the Holiday spirit with our neighbors. Then, the proceeds from the sale allow the Palatine Jaycees to continue our involvement in the community.”
