The Palatine Jaycees turned over the reins of the organization to their new board of directors for 2017 at their Annual Awards and Installation Banquet held on January 14 at the Falcon Park Recreation Center.
The new executive officers for the chapter are Sarah Harwerth-De Marco, President; Sarah McKillop, Administrative Vice President; Zach Kulig, Chapter Management Vice President; Brianne Lind, Community Development Vice President; Courtney Kulig, Membership Development Vice President; Rachel Smith, Individual Development Vice President; Danielle Green, Treasurer; Emily Sanscrainte, Secretary; Rob Doty, State Director; and Pat De Marco, Chairman of the Board.
There are also four local directors, who act as the liaisons between the board of directors and the general membership. The local directors for 2017 are Robin Yactor, Margie Musary, Kristen Schwartz and Brett Simonis.
“My team and I are excited by the growth in size of the chapter and the new projects that we will be launching in 2017,” said Sarah Harwerth-De Marco, Palatine Jaycee President. “The Palatine Jaycees have always been involved in our community with projects like our Fourth of July celebration and Christmas tree sale. All of the profits from our projects are donated back into the community in the form of donations, scholarships, and grants. With the new members that are joining and their contributions to the chapter, look for more Jaycee projects and donations in the Palatine area.”
