Palatine Jaycees Host Trivia Night

The Palatine Jaycees invite the community to their Trivia Night Fundraiser at Falcon Park Recreation Center at 2195 N Hicks Rd, Palatine, IL, Friday May 15, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Teams of 6-10 people will compete to answer questions for a $250 cash prize while helping raise money for Palatine Jaycees community projects.

There will be 10 rounds of trivia with 10 questions, and the team to answers the most questions correctly wins. Open bar is included with all package options. Advance payment for the entire team is $25.00 per person, advance payment individually is $30.00 per person and payment at the door is $35.00 per person.

“The trivia fundraiser is a fun community event that raise money that will go back to the Palatine area,” said Dan Reinholtz, project chair. “All of the profits from our projects are donated back into the community in the form of donations, scholarships, holiday programs and grants.”

Every year, the Palatine Jaycees conduct numerous programs to serve the community and accumulate funds for operation of the Chapter and community donations. Included in these projects are the Fourth of July Festival (Hometown Fest), Christmas tree sales, Best Pizza Contest and others, which benefit the community directly and help raise money.

The Palatine Chapter of the Jaycees, one of 60 local chapters throughout Illinois, has close to 100 members and is one of the largest chapters in Illinois. The Jaycees provide individuals between the age of 21 and 40 the opportunity to develop personal and leadership skills while serving their community.

The Palatine Chapter holds their monthly general meeting on the third Thursday of the month at 7:30 PM at the American Legion Hall on Palatine Road in Palatine.
