Deck the Halls at our Christmas Tree Sale!

This holiday season, the Palatine Jaycees will host its annual Christmas Tree Sale in the Palatine Park District Aquatic Center parking lot to raise funds to help individuals and civic groups throughout the Palatine area.

The sale will run from Friday, November 27 through Sunday, December 20, while supplies last. On November 27, the tree lot will be open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. During the rest of the sale, the hours will be Fridays from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Aquatic Center parking lot is located at 340 E. Palatine Rd., next to Walgreens.

“We will offer a variety of fresh-cut, long- and short-needle trees, wreaths and garland at special pricing,” said Alex Green, co-chair of the project. “Shoppers can choose from our selection of Scotch Pine, Blue Spruce, Balsam Fir, Douglas Fir and Fraser Fir in a variety of sizes at competitive prices. Our festively decorated wreaths are always a customer favorite!”

“In response to COVID social distancing concerns, we will offer online tree sales the first two weekends and local tree delivery for an additional donation,” said co-chair Megan McGaughey. The Jaycees will follow all recommended safety concerns, including limiting the number of patrons, if necessary, requiring face masks and providing hand sanitizer. Unfortunately, Santa will not be available for photos.

“We provide a variety of extra services for our customers. Baling is available to make transporting your tree easier. We also offer drilling services for specialized tree stands,” said Kim King, co-chair of the project. “We are able to accept credit cards, cash, and checks.”

The Jaycees will also provide a Mailbox for Santa. Children can send a letter to Santa in the special mailbox at the Christmas tree lot. If the child’s letter includes a legible return address, Santa will reply to any letter delivered to the box by December 13.

“Our Christmas Tree Sale has always been one of my favorite projects,” said co-chair Lindsay Schubel Nagle. “We get to share the festive holiday spirit with our neighbors. All of the proceeds from the sale allow the Palatine Jaycees to continue our involvement in the community.”

In an effort to keep our community safe, the Jaycees will also offer online ordering. Online orders may be filled out using the link below.
