Jaycees awarded 1st place in Paint the Town Green St. Patrick’s Day parade

Palatine Jaycees

The judges for the Paint the Town Green St. Patrick’s Day parade awarded the Palatine Jaycees’ entry First Place honors. The parade was held in downtown Palatine on Saturday, March 17. The Jaycees’ entry included an emerald green Mini Cooper car decorated to look like a leprechaun, followed by Jaycees members and supporters in festive attire. Members Jay and Lindsay Nagle brought their three dogs, also in festive attire, to share in the fun and were featured in a Daily Herald article about the event. The Jaycees handed out candy, sunglasses, and stadium cups to attendees. Members Max Stepanek and Brandon Parrott-Sheffer organized the group, prepared the giveaways, and provided the car.
