Palatine Jaycees Annual Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny
The Egg Hunt has been canceled for 2020
Join the Jaycees for our Annual Egg Hunt and Meet the Easter Bunny!
The Palatine Jaycees will entertain local children with its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 11, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in a new location, indoors at Falcon Park in Palatine.
“Due to the unpredictable weather in our area, we decided to move the egg hunt indoors to ensure the children will be able to enjoy the hunt, rain or shine,” said Katie Berlin, co-chair of the event.
“We will have over 3,000 Easter eggs for the kids to find, which they can exchange for a goodie bag of candy and toys,” said co-chair Jennifer Levin. “Children up to 9 years old are invited to hunt eggs, enjoy crafts and play games at this event that is free to the public.” Multiple mini-hunts will be separated by age groups. Oriental Trading generously donated many of the eggs and toys for the event.
The Jaycees also invited the Easter Bunny to attend the egg hunt. “Parents can take their children’s pictures with the Easter Bunny for a small donation,” said co-chair Lindsay Schubel Nagle.
There is no pre-registration for the event, but RSVP on the official Facebook event is encouraged. Goodie bags of candy and toys are available while supplies last. The new indoor location is Falcon Park, 2195 N. Hicks Rd, Palatine, IL 60074, and the hunt will be on the soccer field turf.
