Palatine Jaycees Participating in Polar Plunge 2017

This winter the Palatine Jaycees are going to be part of the 2017 Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge! That is right!  We have committed to “be bold and get cold” for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois by taking an icy dip into the frigid winter waters!

While we’re getting cold just thinking about it, we’re excited to join the thousands of warm-hearted individuals that will participate in the Polar Plunge.  The cold we’ll experience is temporary; the positive impact this event makes on the lives of Special Olympics athletes across Illinois will last a lifetime!

We need your help!  We would love it if you would join our team, but if not we hope you will support our efforts by making a donation to Special Olympics Illinois.  Any amount is appreciated – it all goes to one “cool” cause and gets us that much closer to our goal.  Best of all, your donation helps provide athletes with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to participate in Special Olympics programs and reveal their inner champion.
