Family Field Day activities announced

The Palatine Jaycees are excited to announce the planned activities for Family Field Day this Saturday, September 9, from 10 a.m. to noon at Falcon Park Recreation Center. The list of activities is posted on the chapter’s website at www.palatinejaycees.org/family-field-day/. Details are subject to change, and all activities will be moved indoors to the gym in case of inclement weather.

“Our committee could not be more excited,” said event chair Barbara Cima. “We have over a dozen different games and sports for the kids to try, plus healthy snacks and giveaways. Kids who participate in the different activities will be entered in a free raffle- we have at least fifteen awesome prize baskets to give away!”

The Palatine Jaycees have partnered with the Palatine Park District, as well as local sports clubs and businesses, to provide a variety of stations for kids ages 6-12 and their families to enjoy. Chapter members will provide assistance and keep things running smoothly.

No pre-registration is required for the event. Parents must sign a waiver when they arrive in order for the children to participate. All activities are free. The event will be held rain or shine.
